Located on 22 beautiful acres in Rappahannock County VA, just 1 1/2 hours from Washington, D.C. and 50 minutes from Dulles International airport.
Lodging is available at many charming local B&B’s for those taking our two-day workshops.

- Take the I-495 BELTWAY towards NORTHERN VIRGINIA.
- Take I-66 W, exit number 9, towards MANASSAS/FRONT ROYAL. Continue for 21.2 miles.
- Take the US-29 S exit, exit number 43A – Gainesville/Warrenton Stay on US-29 S LEE HWY for 11.4 miles.
- Take the US-211 W/US-29 BUS exit towards WARRENTON/LURAY. Continue on US-211/US-29BUS, which is W Lee Hwy for 1.8 miles. There will be a large Sheetz gas station on your right. Do NOT turn left onto US-211 BUS, Stay on US-211/US-29 BUS. At this point you’ll be going through Warrenton’s K-mart, Giant, MacDonald’s, etc… strip.
- Turn RIGHT onto US-211. There are signs for Skyline Drive/Luray/New Market and Shenandoah National Park. At this point it becomes a divided highway with only two traffic lights. Continue straight for 10.9 mile.
- Turn LEFT onto VA-642 direction Viewtown. There will be a Hackley’s Market on the left at the turn. (Look for the Lom-Bar-Dy Restaurant on the left side of US-211 about 1/2 mile before the turn.) You will go through the tiny town of Viewtown. After you pass it, keep your eyes open for the sharp turn to the right. The road will dead-end. From when you turned off 211 you will travel a total of 4.8 miles.
- Turn RIGHT onto VA-729. Continue straight for 5.1 miles. Within a mile this road becomes VA-618. (VA-729 turns right, don’t take it.) You will go through LaurelMills (general store and gas station on right) where there is a sharp turn to the left. After that keep going straight. You will pass the Castleton Fire Dept.
- Turn left on to Castleton Ford Road – that’s VA-617. Go about 0.3 miles, past the one farm on your left. Look for the Castle Spring Studio sign and a black 103 mailbox on the right. Turn left there into the gravel road through the forest for about 400 yds.
